"The goal here, uh, is that we're gonna create or save 600,000 jobs over the next 100 days."

- This comment was made early in the year, but was revisited on or around Barack's '100 Day' extravaganza, celebrating the greatest 100 days in the history of the U.S. presidency, of course.

**Obama's 100th day was April 30, so lets see how many jobs he "created or save(d)" since then: May = 345,000 jobs lost, June = 443,000 jobs lost, July = 247,000 jobs lost, August = 216,000 jobs lost...I could be wrong, but it looks like about 1,251,000 jobs between May and August; since Barack promised to "create or save 600,000."

That's pretty bad; even by Liberal standards of Utopian math.

You should notice job losses are going down, however. Only in the 200,000's in the past couple months. This should be a positive, right? Nope...It's only when the losses disappear, and gains take place that we can claim to have legitimately positive jobs data. Only a complete liar (or a Democrat politico) could claim anything less than job increases are a positive.

Currently the U.S. has a 10% unemployment rate by definition, but really it's over 17% when those who've given up are counted...It's going to be years before Obama can honestly say 600,000 jobs have been "created or save(d)," and if he's truly being honest he'll admit he had nothing to do with any of them. I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for such honesty, however.**

I wasn't planning on doing any new posts during the Christmas and New Years season, but I don't think this can be overlooked...I'm sure Barack's handlers will find a way to pass this off as some kind of Right-wing conspiracy, but it is what it is. And what is it? It's our President finding another way to take a dump on American.

Congratulations on your choice for President of the United States, America...I don't think this is the "hope and change" you were thinking of.

Critics of President Obama are setting their sights this week on the official White House Christmas tree, which features controversial ornaments including an orb depicting the late Chinese dictator, another that shows drag queen Hedda Lettuce, and yet another that shows a picture of Mount Rushmore - with Obama's head pasted to the side of Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson and Roosevelt's.

Designer Simon Doonan, who was in charge of organizing Christmas decorations at the White House, did not respond to calls for comment. Neither did the White House.

I can't be the only one who finds a little humor in a tranny named Hedda Lettuce. I also can't be the only one who finds it amazing that one of his/her balls is hanging anywhere near the White House...Maybe I'm a little to sensitive about Chairman Mao hanging around the White House, too. He only killed 50-80 million Chinese, and more than a few Americans in Korea, but that shouldn't be counted against him.

Congratulations, America. You are quickly becoming the the Left's version of the Twilight Zone...Heaven help us, because heaven only knows what we have to look forward to in year-two of the Lunatic Fringe we all know as the Obama Administration.

A Christmas Thank You

As most of you know, I am not a Christian. But I am an American of strong values and beliefs, most of which are based on Judeo-Christian principles = AMERICAN PRINCIPLES!!

Christmas in Peroville may not be a traditional one, but it is an important holiday, and another chance to thank those who are important to me...There are so many.

Merry Christmas and Thank You, to my family and friends, as well as my employers and co-workers, blogger and fantasy football buddies, and our brilliant U.S. Soldiers, Marines, Seamen and Airmen.

Of course my wife and daughters hold a special place in my heart, along with my mother and sister, brother, in-laws, nieces, and best friends. This is also the first Christmas I'll have without my deceased step-mother; she will be missed...These dozen or so people are the building blocks of my life, with my wife and two little angels at home being the bedrock of my very existence.

I know some listed above are often baffled by me, but I hope they know they are what keeps me going...Heaven knows where I'd be without every one of them.

There are others: My children's teachers, local fire and police, and all those who give so much to make our country the greatest nation in the history of the world...And make no mistake, in the history of all mankind there has never been a better country.

A Different Christmas Poem

The embers glowed softly, and in their dim light,
I gazed round the room and I cherished the sight.
My wife was asleep, her head on my chest,
My daughter beside me, angelic in rest.

Outside the snow fell, a blanket of white,
Transforming the yard to a winter delight.
The sparkling lights in the tree I believe,
Completed the magic that was Christmas Eve.

My eyelids were heavy, my breathing was deep,
Secure and surrounded by love I would sleep.
In perfect contentment, or so it would seem,
So I slumbered, perhaps I started to dream.

The sound wasn't loud, and it wasn't too near,
But I opened my eyes when it tickled my ear.
Perhaps just a cough, I didn't quite know,
Then the sure sound of footsteps outside in the snow.

My soul gave a tremble, I struggled to hear,
And I crept to the door just to see who was near.
Standing out in the cold and the dark of the night,
A lone figure stood, his face weary and tight.

A soldier, I puzzled, some twenty years old,
Perhaps a Marine, huddled here in the cold.
Alone in the dark, he looked up and smiled,
Standing watch over me, and my wife and my child.

"What are you doing?" I asked without fear,
"Come in this moment, it's freezing out here!

The same can hardly ever be said for Obama, who tends to say what his audience wants to hear, and aims to get to his means without having to say it...So, which of these POS's do you think is the 'Truth Teller?' Which is the 'Liar?'

Regardless of your answer, know one thing: BOTH are aiming to "bring about government-run health care." One's just willing to say it out loud.**
